La veille du Nouvel An, plusieurs enfants écrivent une lettre au Père Noël pour lui demander un arbre de Noël. À minuit, le bonhomme de neige prend vie, part à la recherche du Père Noël. Dans la forêt magique, hibou, renard et loup tentent d'enlever la lettre du bonhomme de neige par la force ou la ruse. Mais avec l'aide d'un bon ours, le Bonhomme de neige parvient à se rendre au Père Noël et à lui donner la demande des enfants...
