1982. Élevé au sein d’une communauté religieuse très stricte, Will n’a pas le droit de regarder la télévision ou d’aller au cinéma. Son quotidien est bouleversé le jour où son ami, le turbulent Lee Carter, lui fait voir une version pirate du premier Rambo. Laissant libre cours à leur imagination, Will et Lee décident de réaliser un film inspiré des aventures de l’illustre guerrier. Le remake fait fureur auprès de leurs camarades, mais l’arrivée de Didier Revol, un correspondant français, va semer le trouble dans la classe.
