Comédie
Max Lambert, un casseur expérimentée et âgé, s'échappe de prison en compagnie d'un codétenu, Pierre Bizet, surnommé « le séminariste ». Ils ont pour dessein de récupérer à Rome un magot enterré par Max bien des années auparavant, en profitant de la foule présente dans la capitale italienne à l'occasion de la Sainte Année de 1975. Ils prennent l'avion, déguisés en ecclésiastiques, mais le vol est détourné par des pirates de l'air.
