Howard le révolté
Au milieu du XVIIIeme siècle, Matt Howard, un jeune campagnard, rencontre Thomas Jefferson. Des années plus tard, ce dernier le fait engager dans une famille d'aristocrates. Il est vite renvoyé mais gagne le coeur de la fille de la maison, Jane. Ils se marient et partent pour la Virginie où Matt, suivant les conseils de Jefferson, se lance dans la politique .....
