Thriller
Un champion d'échecs, Peter Sanderson, voit sa vie basculer lorsque l'attachée de presse d'un tournoi auquel il participe et dont il était tombé amoureux est mystérieusement assasinée. Rapidement suspecté du meurtre, il doit faire face à un serial-killer qui utilise la ville comme un échiquier géant : chacune de ses victimes est tuée à un lieu correspondant à une case. Une partie d'échecs très particulière débute alors entre Peter et le tueur.
