Su vida es fantástica ... su esposa es fantástica ... sus vecinos, no tan fantásticos.
Un astuto zorro llamado Fox (voz original de George Clooney) parece llevar una vida idílica con su esposa (Meryl Streep) y con su hijo Ash (Jason Schwartzman). Pero, por las noches, el señor Fox se dedica a robar gallinas, patos y pavos en las granjas vecinas. Los granjeros deciden acabar con la situación cazando a Mr. Fox.
