Summary

#Rats follows a musician whose money is stolen and whose attempts to get help from the authorities lead nowhere. Frustrated by the lack of action, he turns to social media, creating the hashtag “#Rats” to identify the people he believes are responsible. What begins as a personal effort to recover his belongings quickly grows into a wider online movement, as other victims use the hashtag to expose their own thieves and seek the justice they feel the system has denied them.
