Blueback

Summary

Adapted from Tim Winton’s acclaimed novel, Blueback follows Abby, a young girl growing up in a remote coastal community in Western Australia. While diving with her marine-biologist mother, Dora, Abby encounters a magnificent blue groper, a large and unusually intelligent fish she names Blueback. The creature becomes a symbol of the rich underwater world surrounding their home and of Abby’s deepening connection to the sea.
