Summary

High Ground (2025) is a tense border-town thriller built around a dangerous mystery. When an enigmatic prisoner is brought into the local jail, the town’s sheriff finds himself at the center of a rapidly escalating confrontation with a ruthless cartel. What initially appears to be a routine custody matter soon becomes a siege-like struggle, as cartel forces descend on the community and the sheriff is forced to decide how far he is willing to go to protect the prisoner, his deputies, and the people under his care.
