Half
Twin half-blooded vampires wage war with desert highway hijackers.
Summary
HALF (2026) follows twin half-blooded vampires who find themselves drawn into a violent conflict with a gang of hijackers operating along isolated desert highways. Caught between the supernatural world they inherited and the human world that fears and exploits anything different, the siblings must rely on their unusual bond as they confront a ruthless enemy who has turned the open road into a hunting ground. At the center of the film are the vampire twins, whose shared blood does not make them identical in outlook. Their relationship gives the story its emotional core, as loyalty, resentment, and questions of identity complicate their fight for survival. Opposing them are the desert highway hijackers, a predatory group whose criminal empire brings the twins into repeated clashes across the harsh, empty landscape. The resulting conflict blends vampire mythology with the stripped-down tension of a road thriller, using desolate highways, remote settlements, and the threat of sudden violence to create an atmosphere of constant danger. Beneath its action-driven premise, HALF explores what it means to live between categories: human and vampire, family and individual, victim and aggressor. The twins’ “half-blooded” nature becomes a metaphor for alienation and inherited difference, while their struggle with the hijackers raises questions about power, survival, and who gets to claim ownership of a hostile world. The film promises a lean, atmospheric genre story in which supernatural warfare and outlaw violence collide without losing sight of the complicated bond between its central characters.
