Summary
Exit Protocol follows a highly trained assassin whose specialty is eliminating other contract killers attempting to leave the profession. After years of enforcing the rules of a shadowy underworld, he decides that his own career must come to an end. Retirement, however, is not an option his employers are willing to grant easily. Once his decision becomes known, he is marked for death by the same network he previously served. His only chance of survival is an uneasy alliance with a former target—a person he was once hired to kill but who has now become equally vulnerable. Forced to trust someone who has every reason to distrust him, the two fugitives move from one dangerous escape to the next while a succession of hired killers closes in.
