Summary

Daveed follows Davy, a professional bodyguard whose job is to protect celebrities and handle threats before they reach the people in his care. Tough, disciplined, and accustomed to living in the shadow of other people’s fame, Davy’s routine is upended when he crosses paths with a notorious boxer whose reputation for violence makes him a dangerous adversary. What begins as a confrontational encounter soon develops into a larger personal and physical conflict, forcing Davy to confront the limits of his toughness and the consequences of choosing when to fight back. Antony Varghese gives Davy a bruised, guarded presence, portraying him as a man whose strength is both his livelihood and a burden he cannot easily set aside.
