Daagi

Summary

Daagi follows Nishan, a man who has spent more than twelve years in prison and emerges to discover that the world has moved on without him. The streets, social expectations, and relationships he once knew now feel unfamiliar, while the stigma attached to his past makes it difficult for him to be accepted as an ordinary member of society. Although he has served his sentence, Nishan finds that punishment continues outside the prison walls, reflected in the suspicion and rejection he encounters.
