كان موغلي يعيش في القرية مع أخيه الصغير الجديد رانجان وصديقته المقربة شانتي. لكنه لا يزال يحتفظ بإيقاع الأدغال في قلبه، ويفتقد رفيقيه القدامى بالوو وبغير. عندما يتجول موغلي عائداً إلى البرية للاستمتاع ببعض المرح، سرعان ما يجد النمر آكل البشر شرخان يتربص في الظل ويخطط للانتقام منه.
