Après avoir échoué dans sa quête pour vaincre Aquaman, Black Manta, toujours habité par son désir de venger la mort de son père, ne reculera devant rien pour se débarrasser d’Aquaman une fois pour toutes. Cette fois, Black Manta est plus puissant que jamais grâce au pouvoir du mythique Trident noir, capable de déclencher une force antique et malveillante.
