Without Men

Life in a small Latin American mountain village changes completely when the men of the community are recruited to fight in the civil war raging across the country. Suddenly, the women are left to fend for themselves. Under the leadership of Rosalba (Eva Longoria), they adapt to the situation and their new roles, transforming the community into a female utopia. When the men eventually return home and attempt to reclaim their traditional positions, conflict arises.
