When Huckleberry and Blueberry's Patti Persimmon-style mystery story is rejected by an online mystery magazine, Blueberry and Huck have to come up with a new way to raise support for Huckleberry's Hotel for Homeless Pets back in Berry Big City. Strawberry suggests they hold a big dog show! Plum makes over-ambitious plans to display talents that her dog does not quite have, trying to teach him complicated dance routines. When everyone learns what awesome feats Plum has planned for her own dog, the competition heats up, everyone wanting their pup to perform in an even more spectacular manner. The training sessions go comically awry, with morale starting to plummet.
Blueberry is disappointed in the girls' lack of enthusiasm for the Patti Persimmon mystery novels, her favorite book series. She finds herself missing the company of her fellow Persimmon fan Huckleberry, and thinks up a great way to get him to visit. She invites Huck to co-write a story with her to submit to an online mystery magazine.. Huck eagerly accepts and comes for a visit. He is especially hopeful that if the story is accepted, he can raise some funds for his new Huckleberry's Hotel for Homeless Pets.

When a storm causes a giant boulder to cut off Berry Bitty City's water supply, Strawberry and the girls face the possibility of having to move away from their homes. With the help of Mr. Longface Caterpillar, the girls set out on an adventure to save their town.
At school, Sid and his friends discover that wind is strong enough to make sand dunes, waves, move sail boats, and even blow away a pile of leaves!
But this year, Sid and his family are visiting relatives where it's chilly and cold. Sid wonders why it can't be warm everywhere? At school, Sid discovers that temperatures are different all over the world!
Berrykins Ed and Earl report to Princess Berrykin and Strawberry that they are certain there is a monster in the berry patch! They saw something with many noses and many tails making weird noises in the bushes. But upon further investigation by Strawberry and her friends, it is discovered that friendly boy Huckleberry Pie was driving his pet-mobile of orphan dogs through the countryside, took a wrong turn and got stuck near Berry Bitty City. What the Berrykins mistook for a monster was really the bunch of cute pups Huck has been trying to get adopted. While Huck's van is being repaired, Strawberry invites Huck and his seven pups to spend the night in the new bedroom above the marketplace, while she bunks in her old bedroom above the café. The next morning, Strawberry discovers that the playful pups have given her bedroom a total makeover –the wrong kind. An embarrassed Huck insists on staying until he can repair the damage.
Strawberry, Cherry and the girls form a new band, Strawberry and the Sweet Beats, and prepare to go on the road to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the Berry Big City Games! While master mechanic Berrykin Bruce turns Cherry's tour bus into the band's hotel-on-wheels, Strawberry and her friends pack for the big trip. But the rest of Berry Bitty City points out that someone needs to run the girls' businesses while they are gone. Strawberry and her friends give the Berrykins a crash course in city-sitting.

It appears winter is finally coming to an end and Raspberry is planning a big fashion show to display her spring line. Her vision is to have the girls model her fashions in a parade past the town fountain. What she didn't realize is that the Berrykins are turning the fountain into a big water show. Every time the girls come to rehearse, they must comically dodge jets of fruit juice from the out-of-control fountain—the Berrykins are still working out the bugs. Strawberry reminds them that this is a public area that should be shared, and suggests they work out a schedule.
It's another windy winter day, and the postal bees are staying indoors—the wind is too strong for their berry bitty wings. “We don't know when the next mail will get through!” It's bad news for Blueberry, who has been anxiously awaiting the next installment of a Patty Persimmon Detective story. If only she could get to the post office in Berry Bitty Dale where her package is waiting! She gets a brainstorm. Cutting up the side of an old broken tennis racket, she attaches the pieces to her rain boots—instant ice skates! Fashionably bundled against the cold, and pulled by butterflies who sail on the wind like kites, she sail-skates down the frozen road, to the amazement of her friends.
