The Slug Run is the ultimate, off-road, no-holds-barred, cross-cavern Mecha Beast race. Unfortunately, the only thing lower than the odds of beating the three-time champ who's now racing for Dr. Blakk are the odds of Eli making it to the finish line in one piece!

Eli refuses to let his slug or any other get ghouled, so the team breaks in to Blakk's fortress to free them. While inside, they learn of Blakk's plan to conquer Slugterra.
Now its Eli's turn to be Slugterra's next Shane, whether he's ready or not! Unfortunately, the slugslinging tournament he enters to prove that he's ready, pretty quickly shows that he's not!
When the Shane Gang arrive at a cavern overrun by thieves terrorizing the good townfolk, they decide to use Pronto as bait, hoping the thieves will eliminate each other as each strives to be the first to capture the valuable molenoid-the only one the Eastern Caverns have ever seen. However, their plan goes awry when Underlord Holt arrives and commands the thieves to work together to bring him Pronto-dead or alive!
