When Dave and Jean married 13 years ago, the cottage became a special place for their blended family to spend time bonding. Now adults, their children want to surprise their parents with a Weekend Reno as a thank you for all the wonderful years they spent together at the cottage. The design plan focuses on transforming the tired living room and dysfunctional kitchen. With an extensive project list from flooring to re-facing the cabinets Michelle, Anthony and Merrill work overtime to finish the surprise before the weekend is up.

Perfect for relaxing after the hard labour of renovations, is taking a dip in a luxurious hot tub with a perfect view of the sun setting over the lake. The problem is, though, this lakeside fixer-upper came with the hot tub hidden in the basement! Anxious to get it out and into the garden for prime use, Colin and Justin discuss their options with their Muskoka contractor as relocating the hot tub is no easy feat and could result in disaster! Do they finally get it up and out of the basement?
