On this episode of Huckberry Homes, we caught our good friend and photographer James Barkman out in the wild. He gave us a tour of his vintage "Yellow Submarine" inspired VW Van and broke down some of the modifications he has made to make this adventure bus feel more like home.

This episode of Huckberry Homes brings us out to the Western Slope, just a few miles outside of Vail, Colorado to visit our longtime friend and collaborator Sinuhe Xavier. When he's not traveling the world shooting commercials and making short films, Xavier's at home in his quiet, perfectly appointed retreat deep in the Rockies here he's a three hour drive from Red Rock desert and a ten minute drive from some of the best snowboarding in the world. There was plenty of magic in Sinuhe's spot, from his BMW GS to his exploration of how his love for his son shaped the design and decoration of his pad.

We will follow people rethinking how they can make a difference by volunteering to help the environment in the Florida Keys. Whether you are traveling to the Keys on vacation or you live there, people are making a difference by giving back.

Bass fishing takes on numerous forms, from the simplicity of backyard pond fishing to the apex of competitive tournament angling. Yet, within this pursuit lies a distinct niche: trophy hunting via swimbait fishing. Unlike traditional baits, swimbaits stand out in their uniqueness within an angler's arsenal. Ranging from six to twelve-plus inches in length and weighing two to sixteen ounces, these baits require a quiver of specialized equipment and a different mindset. The adage "big bait, big fish" is the guiding principle, firmly centered on catching the biggest bass in the lake, armed with the largest baits from your tackle box.

It's the final leg of the Fly Shop Tour and what better way to end it than with a trip down to see the crew at Fly Fish Food. We learn the unique story of how owners Clark “Cheech” Pierce & Curtis Fry started their shop and spend some time chasing hungry Cutthroat. Wrapping it all up the team puts on the final conservation event of the season with Fly Fish Food and Fish For Garbage, as well as spending some time behind the oars on the Green River with crew at Western Rivers Fly Shop.

With Montana in the rearview mirror the Flylords team crosses over into Idaho. In this leg of the trip they hit Blue-Ribbon trout waters with the folks from Henrys Fork Anglers and Silver Creek Outfitters. They also have a chance to sit down with the owners of these operations and hear what these shops and fly fishing mean to them. Before they hit the road to Utah the crew joins in on another conservation event at Payette Brewing Company.

Leaving the van behind the team hits the road and finds themselves in Twin Bridges, Montana where they link up with Dan “Rooster” Leavens of Stonefly Outfitters for some of the best brown trout fishing you can find. The crew wraps up their visit to Montana with a trip to the team at Madison River Fishing Co. and an event to raise funds for the local Trout Unlimited chapter at MAP Brewing.
