Meet Luke DiTella—once a pro surfer, now the founder of Frank August whiskey, and an all-around Renaissance man. Whether it's barrels at a Jersey beach break or barrels of aged whiskey, Luke knows how to turn life into an art form. In this episode of Huckberry Homes, we take a deep dive into Luke's world at his coastal haven in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey. It's a place where the salty sea air meets the rich aroma of aged whiskey—a home that's as rugged yet refined as the man himself. Luke opens his doors to share tales of surfing glory, entrepreneurial grit, and the beautiful chaos of fatherhood (spoiler: they don't care about your design aesthetic).

On Huckberry Homes, we'll be tapping into the most inspiring members of the Huckberry community to offer an inside peek into how they've crafted the place they call home. We will showcase everything from cold plunges to vinyl listening rooms, home gyms and offices, and other tools that inspire creativity and high-performing lives. For our first entry, we turned to Austin, Texas' own Scott Ballew. Our good buddy, Scott, is a filmmaker and songwriter who owns a Bohemian bungalow in the heart of Austin's first suburb. It's a home now that serves as a creative incubator, gathering place, hideaway, recording studio -- and maybe, as a personal shrine of a man curated by the man himself.

MeatEaterTV Founder and CCO Steven Rinella has been in outdoor media for a long time, and an avid outdoorsman even longer. In this episode of Huckberry Homes, Rinella takes us into his ranch-style home nestled on the edge of wild Montana. There's a spacious outdoor kitchen, a geared-out garage workshop, a wall of skulls, and a treasure trove of dino nuggets. Things might not always be feng shui, but that's ok. Rinella ultimately likes his space to invoke positive memories of time spent with his wife and three kids. “If I was going to give two pieces of life advice, it would be to never have a plan B, and to make a place in your garage to put sh*t overhead.”

"Here at Huckberry, we believe that style isn't defined solely by what you wear — it's personified in your morning rituals, your bookshelves and music library, the furniture you choose to spend your waking hours in, and the gear closet that powers your passions and pursuits. Style doesn't end with your closet, it sparks to life there. The men and women that served in our armed services and as first responders, had jobs that required the, to be willing to sacrifice their own lives every day, in order to protect or save someone else's. Not many of us can say that, nor understand what that truly means. The things they've had to see, and the sacrifices they've made in their daily lives, can have a profound impact on them. Trinity Oaks' Bucks for the Brave platform allows the loved ones and communities that support these heroes to share their stories and unite us all in honoring and recognizing their service to our great nation. We are proud to continue to be a part of this incredible program, getting these heroes in the outdoors for the hunt of a lifetime.
