Tim Gunn visits the hometowns of the four remaining designers—but only three will show as finalists at Lincoln Center.

The final five designers get treated to a night of luxury in a penthouse suite for all their hard work and making it this far. A prominent NYC figure presents the designers with the final challenge to determine who moves on to Fashion Week.

The designers select real former bridesmaids and prove that their dresses can be worn again after redesigning the looks. But will they be able to handle the pressure when they have to present their work to the public? Designer Cynthia Rowley guest judges.

The designers get their first taste of a Team Challenge when they are split into two teams and tasked with creating a cohesive line to match the hair trends for 2010. Georgina Chapman and Heather Kerzner guest judge.

The designers are left scratching their heads when faced with Project Runway's first hat-inspired challenge. They must design garments influenced by the outrageous hats of famed British milliner Philip Treacy, who also guest judges.

It's anything but party time when the designers get their Unconventional Materials Challenge: to make chic looks out of party supplies. But when the designers' models walk through the doors, the designers learn that there is a catch that may push them to their limits. The “Queen of Unconventional Fashion,” Betsey Johnson, guest judges.

The designers meet Joanna Coles, Editor in Chief of Marie Claire magazine, for their biggest challenge yet. They are told that they are to create designs that epitomize the Marie Claire woman. The winning look will be displayed on a 50-foot billboard in NYC. Joanna guest judges.

Heidi and Tim greet 17 new designers—the most in series history—and break the news that the final audition is still to come. The designers are challenged to create a garment from clothes from another designer's luggage in only five hours. The pressure is on as the designers must work against the clock to wow Heidi, Michael, Nina, and guest judge Selma Blair.

The final three designers finally show off their months of hard work on the Runway, even after dealing with missing models and last-minute fittings. Grammy-winner Faith Hill guest judges to help name the winner of Project Runway Season 7.

Tim makes hometown visits and gives his critiques to the four finalists. Mila and Jay must show the judges three of the garments from their collections to determine who will show at Fashion Week.
