Huge waves hit Bondi, leading Bisho to perform a cliff-face rescue with just flippers and a rescue tube. Trainee Taco faces consequences for rookie errors but earns redemption with the rescue of the season as a woman is caught beyond the waves in enormous surf.

New trainee Tommy volunteers to catch a deadly sea snake. Christmas brings an influx of tourists to Bondi. Kerrbox plays Santa, and kids search for him on the beach with the help of Harrison. Jesse clears the water as a man is found unresponsive.

Chappo is conflicted when he nabs a young bag snatcher. Whippet and Reidy treat a woman found face down and unconscious in the water. And a skateboarder dislocates his ankle in the skate bowl.

On the first sunny day of December, one man falls off the jetski rescue mat unnoticed. A dance party with 3000 backpackers behind the lifeguard tower results in numerous drug and alcohol-related issues. As the crowd swells to 40,010, head lifeguard Hoppo must decide whether to clear the water.

Tommy showcases the art of rescue in the funniest moment of the season. An unmanned boat drifts off Bondi. Troy rescues a young girl in front of the tower with her dad unaware of the dilemma. Glick takes Kerrbox, who is afraid of heights, up in a helicopter.

Lifeguards conduct an experiment with dangerous current signs, attaching stickers offering cash rewards for those who read the signs. After 4 days no one has collected any money, and lifeguards rescue a whole family directly in front of the signs.

Chappo must decide which of three struggling swimmers to rescue first. Lifeguards use spotlights when Bondi hosts 15,010 World Pride Beach Party revellers. Hoppo celebrates his 30th year on the beach.

Backpackers trade snowflakes for sunscreen as they flock to Bondi for Christmas. The Hare Krishnas make an appearance, both on land and in the rips. Maxi plays a Christmas prank on his cousin Ryan, and Nicola receives news of a scuba diver drowning off Bondi's northern headland, Ben Buckler.

A man loses control of his car and crashes on to Bondi Beach. Harries and Trainee Harrison are first on the scene. Taco's traineeship is coming to an end after more than a few ups and downs. He's going all out to impress Boss Hoppo before he leaves - but it all goes wrong when he flips the jetski.

Big wave surfer Jesse challenges Tommy and Jules. Tommy performs two rescues of intoxicated tourists. Reidy pursues a creepy guy on the beach. There are Beard Season skin checks, and a Danish backpacker bares all on Bondi Beach.

2016 dawns on Bondi with drug and alcohol-affected masses taking lifeguards to another level. A 300-person-strong Dutch contingent raises the stakes even further. Nicola loses her cool with beachgoers, and Singlets and Mario lose their cool with each other.

Lifeguards respond to a woman with a suspected heart attack on Campbell Parade. Jethro treats a female backpacker experiencing anaphylaxis with an EpiPen. Jesse and Jethro compete: surfer vs. bodyboarder. A severe dislocated shoulder necessitates the use of two green whistles.

Amidst the bustling crowds at Bondi, two men start drowning at the north end. Californian bodybuilder Ike Catcher arrives to challenge Harries for the 'King-of-Bondi' title. The real King-of-Bondi test is the annual lifeguard challenge, when everyone races to decide which lifeguard is the fastest.

An 18 year old man breaks his leg and lifeguards administer analgesic pain killer. Maxi uses a tracking device to locate a thief. Corey struggles to stay calm when a bunch of Chinese school kids run wild. Local resident and amateur singer, Cora pens a tune about Bondi's hard working lifeguards.

The national borders are open and international tourists flock to Bondi. Hoppo picks a random beachgoer to demonstrate his Float To Survive technique. Chase meets a local diver who invites him to check out Bondi's grey nurse shark colony.

Harrison's life is threatened when he tries to save a brother and sister whose panicked state leads them to start drowning their rescuer.

As the season concludes, lifeguards play a final prank on trainee Harrison, enlisting football star Alessandro Del Piero to break the 'no ball games' rule. Nicola faces her fear of open water when a boat sinks off Bondi. Lifeguards build unique boats for their annual wave-riding contest.
