I'm LIVE presents the Music & Lyrics Special in celebration of its 4th anniversary! And the second guest of the special trilogy is singer-songwriter JEONGMILLA. JEONGMILLA is known for her delicate poetic depictions of everyday life combined with heartwarming folk sounds. Interestingly enough she started off her career through fine arts after graduating from the prestigious Korea National University of Arts. And she says music and art are both important to her in different ways. In October last year JEONGMILLA released her third full-length album CheongPa Sonata. Inspired by the neighborhood she lives in Cheongpa-dong she delicately painted the quotidian scenes of the area with her personal stories. Since its release the album has been highly recommended by critics on various music charts and with this album she won three trophies at the 2021 Korean Music Awards -- Best Song - Folk Best Album - Folk and Best Album of the Year. MOVNING is composed of three elementary school friends Kang Ha-rim Lim Jun-hyuk and Hwang In-gyu. Built on piano bass and drums they sing about the frustration and defiance of young adults as well as the love and hope they experience. Also the band's leader Kang Ha-rim is actively involved in the creative process as a composer lyricist and even a producer impressing listeners with his outstanding musicality. This artist became known to the public in 2013 after taking part in K-Pop Star Season 3. 3 years later in 2016 she made her official debut with the album One Strange Night and topped all the music charts with the lead single The End. Particularly known for her delicate ability to express emotions she has collaborated with various top-notch musicians and also taken part in many soundtracks. This past February Kwon Jin-ah released her first collaborative single with Gaeko I Feel Like and dominated the top spots of music charts again. February was definitely a busy month for this artist - she also released her EP The Way For Us. Due to her active participation in the creative process both as a songwriter and producer the album beautifully displays her distinct musicality. She likens each of her songs in the EP to a short story making her new album a collection of 6 short stories. He also won the Gold Prize at the Shinhan Card Rookie Project which led him to perform at the Grand Mint Festival and also received the Bronze Prize at the Yoo Jae-ha Music Contest. In addition he made it to the top 8 on the Independent Project and presented an impressive performance on I Can See Your Voice. In April last year J.UNA officially stepped into the mainstream scene with the EP inspiration. Then in March this year he released his second EP Discovery participated by Hong Issac Seo Ja-young Jeong Dong-hwan from MeloMance and more. Jeong Dong-hwan also praised J.UNA saying that he's the John Mayer Michael Bublé and Ed Sheeran of Korea.
