Farmer Smurf is the reluctant master of a genie named Gourdy, whose enthusiasm for service is somewhat excessive. Well, it's Scruple, apprentice to the evil wizard Gargamel. And who should steal Gourdy from Scruple, if not Gargamel himself?

The evil wizard Gargamel is able to capture the Smurfette. Now he is going to give her a truth serum and know all of Papa Smurf' secrets… But then Gargamel makes a big mistake and gives the Smurfette a fib formula!

Papa Smurf instructs Feathers to call the birds to attack the fake bush. After it is stripped, the captured Smurfs climb aboard Feathers and fly away.

Dreamy bumps his head and wakes up to discover it was just a dream, yet finds a jewel in his cap, just like the ones the pokies mine for a living.

The Smurfs - The Lost City Of Yore: Curiosity brings Nosey Smurf to the lair of the Hag Sisters, who want to find the terrifying Sceptre of Yore... And Gargamel wants to cheat the two witches as he tries to destroy the Smurfs.

The Smurfs want a poem written for each of them. The pressure overwhelms Poet, so he runs away seeking inspiration. The Wilybeast King captures Poet and forces him to write a poem to cheer up the King's daughter. Poet learns that motivation must come from the heart and cannot be forced.

As Farmer Smurf says, what's a gourd doing in the melon patch, when it should be by the rutabagas? But when Farmer Smurf pulls the gourd out of the ground he frees a genie, which calls him Master and insists on granting him wishes. The genie, called Gourdy, is going to be more of a hindrance than a help in his eagerness to please Farmer Smurf.

Jokey's practical jokes go too far when Chlorhydris is the victim of one. She gets her revenge on the Smurfs by creating a spell to steal their sense of humor. Grouchy, who had no sense of humor to begin with, breaks the spell by getting back the humor potion.
