Once upon a time there was a king. He was very cranky and foolish. One day he wished to taste an exotic fowl and sent Yegor the huntsman to the deep forest. In the forest, Yegor met a starling, which turned into a beautiful girl. The Tsar saw Yegor to have successfully completed his task and also got the beautiful wife. He started to envy Yegor. The Tsar decided to send Yegor over distant seas to bring do not know what. Despite Tsar's insidious plan, Yegor has successfully returned back home and even taught the king an important lesson not to envy other people.

This is the story about the Fox, the Cat and the Rooster. The sneaky Fox wanted to fool the Cat in order to eat the Rooster and get a rolling-pin. No matter how the Fox tried to butter up the Cat, he denied hand over the Rooster to the Fox. To teach her a lesson, the Cat got into a bag himself and when the Fox opened it in order to eat the Rooster, the Cat jumped out of it and frightened her. The point of the story is that “if you are well off you don't seek better”.

The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids

This educative tale teaches us that caution should never be dismissed. Mother-Goat goes to pick up cabbage, leaving her seven kids alone at home. Hungry Wolf tries to get into the house imitating mother Goat's voice to fool the little yeanlings. He manages to deceive six kids, but the seventh, the smallest one, manages to hide in the oven. The Wolf tries to get into the house through the chimney, but here comes Mother-Goat and finds her seventh kid. She melts the stove, and the Wolf rushes into the forest with his tail burnt. The other six kids come back home and finally the family reunites.
