Sonic and his friends are at a camp site where they discover a Chao colony. Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman is also hiking nearby and decides to launch an attack when he encounters Sonic.
Everyone in the island receives a mysterious letter. Donkey Kong and Diddy discovers that Kongo Bongo Island is coming to an end which these letters contain a curse that causes the Crystal Coconut to stop working, and could eventually destroy the island.
