Samantha tries unsuccessfully to make her own dress for an affair at the home of an agency client, J.T. Glendon. Whisking Samantha to Paris, Endora takes her to the showroom of Aubert, a couturier who has failed in his attempts to break into the American market. Back home, Samantha uses magic to duplicate an Aubert original. Doris, J.T,'s wife admires the dress. Suddenly. Samantha finds herself committed to making dresses for Doris, J.T.'s sister, Ethel, and Gladys Kravitz. Darrin reveals J.T.'s party is a preview of original creations by his new client, Aubert. Samantha is stunning but the other three women look awful in their creations. Aubert faints when he sees the women wearing his "originals." Later Darrin tells Samantha that Aubert, certain he has been doublecrossed, is suing the agency. Samantha convinces Aubert that he has failed in the American market because he hasn't created dresses for women like Doris and Gladys. With Aubert designing, Samantha finishes dresses for another show in which even Gladys is a standout.

Darrin reacts violently when he finds Brian O'Brian, a sprightly leprechaun, a guest in his home. Samantha tells him that Brian is not her relative but the leprechaun of Darrin's family. Brian reveals he has come to recover his pot of gold which was hidden in a fireplace brought to America by James Dennis Robinson. Darrin finds that Robinson owns a company whose account would be a great asset to Darrin's agency. Brian breaks into Robinson's house to retrieve the gold and is arrested. Darrin allows Samantha to use her magic to get Brian out of jail. Brian pleads with Samantha to help him recover his pot of gold which will restore his lost powers. Pledging Brian never to tell Darrin, Samantha returns with him to the Robinson's house. Robinson finds them in his study and reveals he has already removed the pot from the fireplace. Samantha is sur-prised when Robinson tells her he believes the leprechaun's story because his grandfather was a Mahoney, and returns Brian's pot of gold. Brian agrees to allow Robinson to use his picture as a trade mark if Robinson turns his advertising over to Darrin.

For his birthday, Endora decides to make three of Darrin's wishes come true. Unaware of the gift, Darrin gets immediate elevator service in his office building, and they see a bikini-clad beauty. An important client, Randolph Turgeon, insists on seeing Larry Tate, who is in Chicago. Wishing he were Larry for just one day, Darrin immediately turns into his boss. Turgeon introduces Darrin-Larry to his niece, Joyce, who wants a job with the agency. Louise Tate, who thinks her husband is with another woman, slaps her face, and makes him come home. Darrin phones Samantha for help. She arrives immediately, but is un-able to remove the spell. Just as Samantha is telling Darrin--Larry the spell will be over in fifteen minutes, Larry himself walks in. Hoping to keep the confusion from getting worse, Samantha puts Louise to sleep, and tells Larry his wife has been sleep-walking. Safe at home, Samantha tells Darrin Louise will feel she dreamed the whole episode. She asks Darrin what his first two wishes were. He mentions the elevator but decides to forget the girl in the bikini.

Joe Kovack makes a play for Samantha in a restaurant. Darrin rushes to her defense. Realizing Darrin faces certain slaughter, Samantha twitches her nose and Joe falls to the floor, Since Joe is Number One contender for the heavyweight title, newspapers hail Darrin as a coming champ. Darrin pleads with Samantha to let him fight, his own battles. Then, Joe and his Manager, trying to regain a crack at a lucrative championship bout, approach Darrin with a plan for a make-believe bout in which Joe pretends to knock Darrin out. Again, Darrin with the uncalled-on help of Samantha K.O.'s Joe. Finally, Darrin runs into Tommy Carter, the champ-himself. An unplanned for scuffle takes place. Tommy trips and knocks himself out. Later, Larry Tate tells Darrin he has solved the problem by hiring Tommy. Tommy's first assignment is to fight a four-round bout for charity. Darrin quakes at learning that Tommy is to choose his opponent. However, he sadly concludes that with Samantha insisting on being his second, he can't help winning again.

Walter and Margaret Brocken ask Samantha to keep their son Merle, a ten year old warlock, while they attend a witches convention. When Merle agrees not to do any magic before Darrin, Samantha invites him to stay. Meanwhile, Larry Tate asks Darrin to keep an expensive necklace, a birthday present for. his wife, at the Stephens home. Darrin goes to Merle's room, where the young warlock has turned a hairbrush into a model fire engine, which flashes with electric shocks when Darrin touches it. Darrin shouts with pain until Merle turns off the current. Samantha is now forced to disclose that Merle is a warlock. Merle again promises Samantha to refrain from magic in the house. That night a burglar who had seen Larry giving Darrin the necklace breaks in and overpowers Darrin. Darrin calls on Merle for a magical assist, but Merle stands by his promise. When the burglar finds the necklace, Darrin cons him into taking the fire engine too. As he reaches for it, Merle turns on his magic. Later, Gladys is more bewildered than ever as she hears the burglar explaining to the police how he was captured by a toy fire engine.

Aunt Clara tells Samantha and Endora she is hiding from warlock Hedley Partridge, because she fears her old beau will discover her magic no longer works. Seeing in Hedley a husband for Aunt Clara, who has become a problem, Endora invites him to the Stephens home. Samantha decides to make sure Aunt Clara's tricks work. Unaware of this, Aunt Clara is sure her gift is returned when she matches all of Hedley's tricks. When Samantha goes out of the room, Aunt Clara tries to follow Hedley's ro-mantic suggestion that they turn themselves into nightingales, but Hedley becomes an animal, while Aunt Clara's lower half disappears. Gladys Kravitz, who has become hysterical watching the strange happenings, drags Abner over to the Stephens house. When Samantha returns Aunt Clara and Hedley to normal, Aunt Clara is crushed to learn that Samantha helped her all along. Gladys skeptically accepts Abner's explanation that Hedley's magic was performed with the aid of wires. Aunt Clara and Hedley each admit that none of their tricks work as well as they used to. Promising to return, Hedley leaves. Aunt Clara tells Samantha his parting gift a rhinestone doorknob, is more precious than an engagement ring.

Darrin is struggling to create an advertising campaign for a toy ship model manufactured by Mr. Herding. When Samantha wonders whether the Stephens ' baby will look like his father, Endora turns Darrin into an eight-year-old. Returned to normal, Darrin goes to his office. Samantha repeats a disparaging remark Darrin made about Endora. Piqued, Endora turns Darrin into a boy at his office. Mr. Harding sees Darrin and compli-ments Larry on hiring a child to devise a campaign for a toy. Samantha uses magic to return Darrin to normal size but is called on time after time to change him from man to boy when Harding insists on having a point meeting with Darrin and the boy. Finally, as a child, Darrin meets two boys who tell him the ship model is no good because it can't do anything. As Darrin, the man, persuades Harding and Larry to make the changes suggested by the two boys, Samantha gratefully produces a kite for each. When Darrin tells her he'd like to join them, Saman-tha replies he'll have his own son to play with soon.

Dr. Passmore, psychiatrist at a rest home, tells Samantha his patients would like to do something to mark the Centennial of the End of the War Between the States. Samantha tells him Darrin will publicize the affair. Annoyed, Darrin tells Passmore Samantha will write a script for the pageant. Darrin criticizes Samantha's wooden characters. Taking Endora's advice, Samantha uses magic to bring her characters to life, so she can describe them. Soon Confederate Captain Corcoran, Violet, a beautiful Yankee, and an Indian, added for a neutral touch, are wandering around the Stephens' home. Seeing them, Gladys Kravitz flips. When Darrin arrives, the characters refuse to leave. How-ever, they vanish when Darrin kisses Samantha. Gladys tells her story to Passmore. He prescribes for her, but seeing the characters himself, decides he needs a vacation. When Samantha's writing comes to a halt, Corcoran, Violet and the Indian finish the script themselves and leave. After the pageant, Samantha is asked to create a vaudeville revue for the rest home. Two song and dance men appear. Gladys sees them and runs screaming into the night. Samantha tells Darrin she'll need lots of love to keep the hoofers away.
