The four dimensions start to fuse together as Yuya continues to struggle against Yuri. Forced to discard his trump card, things seem hopeless. Yuya's friends then arrive to encourage him to keep fighting no matter what.
Seeing his father carded in front of his eyes, Yuya's rage reaches a boiling point as he accepts Yuri's challenge. But not only does he have to contend with Yugo and Yuri's dragons, but Zarc's ever growing influence over him.
Yusho's advanced Dueltaining manages to push Yuri into a corner and bring Yuya back to his old self. But Yuri is determined to complete Zarc's revival and has one nasty surprise in store for Yusho.
Reiji manages to defeat Reira, continuing on to fight Leo. Elsewhere, Yuri absorbs Yugo and aims to defeat Yuya so that Zarc can be completed. Yusho stands in for his son to fight the depraved youth instead.
While Yuri and Yugo continue their savage battle, Reira starts hearing the voice of Ray. Aiming to make sure Ray is revived, Reira stands against Reiji and the siblings begin a duel with each other.
Yugo and Yuri being their duel, with Zarc's shared influence forcing them into battle. To stop Zarc's revival, Kaito and Edo join the battle as well to hold back Yuri's powerful Fusion Dragon.
Leo's plan gets further and further to completion, which causes the evil inside of Yuya to emerge once more. Yusho stops the duel and realizes that Zarc's influence is hovering over everything, including Yuya's other counterparts.
Leo begins his final plan to fuse the dimensions and revive his daughter Ray. Reiji and Yuya team up to take down Leo, with Yuya resolving not to let Zarc be revived. Yusho realizes that even this is part of a larger enemy's plan.
Leo continues his story about how Zarc destroyed the original world. Leo's daughter Ray used four cards to stop Zarc and split the world into the four current worlds. He then reveals the true nature of Yuya, Yuzu, and the Arc Area Project.
Leo Akaba reveals to Yusho Sakaki how the four dimensions came to be.
Yuya and Yuto are struggling in their battle against Ruri and Serena and their Parasite Queen. The Doctor attempts to take control of Yuya using a parasite as well, but that only awakens the rage inside of Yuya once again.
Yuya comes across Ruri, who is still under the control of the Doctor's parasites. Yuya attempts to fight off Ruri, made harder when Serena joins the fight. Yuto decides to take control and face the two girls.
Asuka stays behind to fight Yuri while Sora and the others go on ahead. Yuri uses a different deck and fights Asuka, who tries to reach out a helping hand to Yuri. That's when Yuri reveals the real reason why he does what he does.
Battle Beast continues his rampage against friend and foe alike. Sensing nothing but rage and anger in Battle Beast's heart, Yuya is determined to show him how fun dueling can actually be and aims to purge his demons.
Yuya and the others try to return to the Resistance base when they are attacked by the Obelisk Force. They try to face the power of the Obelisk Force when Shun becomes gravely injured during the battles.
As Sawatari and Gongenzaka both fail to defeat the Tyler sisters, Yuya and Shun arrive to meet their challenge. In the face of their near perfect combo, Yuya must not give into his rage and defeat his powerful foes.
Allen and Sayaka try to fight Kaito only to end up facing Grace and Gloria Tyler, two of Academia's strongest enforcers. Having no choice but to fight, they face off against the Tyler's Amazoness deck.
Yusho reveals that three years ago he learned of the Arc Area Project and Academia's machinations, going on a journey to stop Leo's plans. Yuri arrives at the You Show Duel School to stamp out the resistance against Academia.
Shun is determined to convince Kaito to rejoin the Resistance despite Kaito's adamant refusal. As the former friends cannot convince each other either way, they decide all they can do is fight against each other.
Yusho explains what happened during his disappearance to Yuzu while in the Fusion Dimension. Back in Heartland, Yuya comes across an angry youth with a grudge against his Dueltaining style as Yuto refuses to stand by any longer.
