To assess Yuma's dueling skills, Vetrix hires the Triad of Terror, a trio of cunning card sharks, to triple team him! Yuma better figure out a way to roll through this threesome before his dueling goes off the rails!

Yuma and his friends get all decked out for the event of the year - the World Duel Carnival Finals party! But when Yuma forgets his invite, can he find a way into the festivities, or will he be forced to hit the road and head home early?!
The Duel between Yuma and Trey comes to an end as in order to stop "Atlandis", Trey cooperates with Yuma in order to bring Astral back. Once that occurs, the power of ZEXAL is used once more in order to Summon "ZW - Phoenix Bow" and defeat "Atlandis".
Due to Trey's power, Yuma forgets all about "Kattobing" and ends up forced into a corner. However Kazuma, helps Yuma continue the fierce Duel against Trey by using the power of the "Numbers" and Emperor's Key to break Trey's spell. Lastly Astral's last hope helps Yuma make a comeback by using "Utopia".
Using new powers given to him by Vetrix, Trey is able to break Yuma and Astral's combination. After capturing Astral, Trey makes Yuma forget about "kattobingu" leading him into further trouble as this makes the latter unable to see Astral or Emperor's Key.
After watching the quick Duel between Yuma against Shark, Trey visits Yuma's house in order to learn more about him. He finds a picture of Yuma's parents, and starts thinking about how his family used to be. He becomes very upset and cries, then runs out of Yuma's house. Yuma goes after him, but then Trey gives him a map, and leaves.
The third day of the preliminaries begins with Yuma looking for one more Heart Piece. Meanwhile, Nistro who wants to defeat Yuma and Astral, enters the tournament along with Dextra. Consequently while collecting Heart Pieces, Nistro challenges Nelson Andrews.
The Duel between Yuma against Dextra and Nistro continues. Due to their combination, Yuma is pushed into a corner, even after Summoning "Utopia" thanks to Astral. However due to the bonds between the two, a reversal occurs!
In order to prevent Flip from being disqualified from the WDC, Yuma Duels against Dextra and Nistro. Meanwhile, Astral faces against an old enemy inside Emperor's Key.
Yuma is having trouble in his Duel against Cameron, and the dangerous future of Tori encountering an accident is continuously approaching. Then, "Number 25: Force Focus", controlled by Cameron, finally shows up. Yuma cannot win without Summoning "Utopia", but according to the prophecy, Yuma will lose in this Duel for sure if he Summons it. Under this desperate circumstance, in order to grasp the future within his own hands, Yuma delivers a bold strategy!
After Yuma laments over Shark dueling in revenge against Quattro, he's irritated by everything that's going on and ends up getting into a squabble with Tori. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the tournament, a photographer named Cameron has won Duel after Duel against Duelists with the help of terrifying ability of his that leaves them in terror. Cameron's superpower is apparently a gift to be able to take photographs of the future. With Cameron's "Future Photographs", his opponent's entire strategy is laid bare before him, allowing him to relentlessly defeat Duelists.
Shark is determined to have his revenge on Quattro, but Quattro's younger brother Trey snares Shark with a Duel Anchor and allows Quattro to leave. Trey's mission from Vetrix and Quinton is to give a "Number" to Shark, which he accomplishes. Shark is able to resist completely being controlled by the "Number" and defeats Trey.
The second day of WDC starts. More energetic than ever, Bronk and Caswell decide to battle the Asian Duel Champion, Quattro. According to these two, the gentleman Quattro has a respectable Duel aesthetic, which is also admired by many Duelists from their hearts. Witnessed by Yuma, Astral, Tori and Trey, the Battle Royal between Quattro, Bronk, and Caswell starts, but Quattro soon reveals his true side which remained hidden until now.
Charlie McCay escapes on the single-track railroad and Yuma starts the Duel. But Charlie's "Number 7: Lucky Straight" possesses amazing luck. If he hits the jackpot by rolling the dice, then Charlie's Life Points will become 100,000. On the verge of giving up when all of his attempts to stop that strong luck become fruitless, Yuma discovers an unexpected strategy.
Charlie McCay steals "Number 7: Lucky Straight" from a gallery. Kari, who has past history with Charlie, sends Yuma after him. He and Astral witness the power of the "Lucky Straight" when Charlie performs a One Turn Kill on a World Duel Carnival competitor. Charlie makes his escape, stealing more cards in the process, including one of Yuma's "Numbers".
Tombo Tillbitty Duels people, defeating them with his "Basket Rule" and takes their Heart Pieces. Dextra and Nistro appear near one of the defeated Duelists. They see he has vegetables stuffed in his mouth, and Dextra sees blood on his shirt. Dextra inspects closer, and licks it up, telling the disgusted Nistro it's just tomato juice.
Anna Kaboom attempts to kill Yuma with a cannon. He negotiates with her and they Duel instead so that Anna can try to take her revenge. Their past history is not what it initially seems.
The battle royale continues. As Yuya keeps fighting, his memories start flooding back to him. Yuzu's dad suddenly remembers too as the rest of the world slowly begins to remember the Lancers and the battle against Zarc.
Things have seemingly returned to normal in the Pendulum Dimension, but Yuya gets the feeling that something is missing. Reiji has him duel against Tsukikage to restore his memories and make him finish the Lancer's goal for good.
