Prominent British businessman Richard Branson visits Baywatch to perform several risky stunts, putting the lifeguards on high alert. Meanwhile Mitch has to save one of Kaye's employees whose violent husband has come looking for her.

When testing out a new flying machine, Mitch spots a makeshift raft with a stranded woman in it. Mitch must help the Chinese woman find her sister. Back at headquarters, Matt and Garner deal with a beach robbery scam.

Matt and CJ stumble upon a homeless man who shockingly turns out to be someone they know very well. Meanwhile, Mitch must rescue a boy's brother from drug smugglers so the boy can receive a life-saving transplant of his brother's bone marrow.

Andy, an old friend of Mitch, visits Baywatch to complete four days of lifeguard service in order to remain on the active roster. But Andy's strong-arm tactics do not sit well with the other lifeguards.

Mitch receives a mysterious package his father had put together before he died. Mitch and his father never saw eye-to-eye, but this gift impacts Mitch more than he ever thought possible. Logan visits a hypnotist to deal with a past trauma.

Mitch is still mourning Tracy's death, so Hobie seeks help from a radio show to help Mitch recover. Caroline resuscitates a man with AIDS, which puts a strain on her relationship with Logan. And CJ enters a ballroom dancing competition.

The beach descends into chaos when DJ Larry "Loomin" Large announces a beach wide treasure hunt for a gold pirate doubloon worth $100,000. The Baywatch team is put on high alert when thousands of reckless treasure hunters storm the beach.

When a woman Mitch refers to as “The Mermaid” turns out to be the wife of a crime boss, an FBI agent comes to catch him before he can escape the country. Things become complicated when Mitch and the catty FBI Agent butt heads.

Carter McKay has recently moved to Southern California to live with his father after his mother's death. When Hobie invites him to the annual father/son lifeguard competition Hobie learns the reason Carter is so embarrassed by his father.

Mitch has to work a 24-hour shift with Stephanie and entrusts Hobie with the responsibility of taking care of himself during that time. But Hobie becomes infatuated with an older girl and is pressured into throwing a party without Mitch's knowledge.

John Cort shows up at headquarters and convinces Mitch to compete in the Baja Run dune buggy race with him. What Mitch doesn't know is Cort is keeping a secret which could land them both in a Mexican prison.

After a recent earthquake which almost took his life, Hobie leaves California to live with his mother in Ohio. When they both show up at headquarters a few weeks later Mitch is surprised, especially when he hears the reason they are there.
