Meanwhile, Betty's classmates get involved in the chase and think its all an elaborate Halloween party!/ The Ranger Girls scout troop, including Betty, is sitting around a campfire one night, telling ghost stories. Betty narrates a "made up" story of Atomic "Betsy" and her crew investigating a deserted spaceship where they experience strange disturbances and noises, including the haunting cries of "Aberdeffia". Atomic Betsy saves the day, with the help of Sparky in a dress!

When Maximus captures Betty, she becomes the newest addition to his menagerie, a collection of rare beings and objects from around the galaxy, and Betty must rely on her recently scorned friends to rescue her.
