Before leaving for an Antarctic mission, she visits her father's forest grave and meets a head monk, who warns her never to take off her bracelet. Meanwhile, Jun-oh cancels Young-hwa's Antarctic selection interview to keep her by his side. Realizing his scheme, Young-hwa seeks him out on set, only to find him collapsed. Suddenly, both are kidnapped by hired thugs.
Jun-oh is revived as Doha possesses him, and he immediately tries to kill Young-hwa in the hospital but fails due to an unknown force. Believing she has simply saved Jun-oh, Young-hwa is overjoyed. But those around Jun-oh grow uneasy as his behavior changes drastically. Jun-oh soon learns of a protective talisman shielding Young-hwa.
