Pil-soo is in trouble because there are fewer customers at the chicken restaurant. To make matters worse his wife hears a story she shouldn't hear.

Pil-soo and Jung-seok who are on the verge of being kicked out of the mansion! They immediately start to find the owner of the sword but it creaks from the beginning. Pil-soo and Jung-seok who can't understand each other's way eventually split up. Meanwhile a man who appeared to Pil-soo's wife! He takes care of the 'important day' that Pil-soo forgot about even the essential day...

Jung Seok and Man-geum's past are all revealed and the whole family becomes aware of Man-geum's illness.

Upon hearing that Eun-ho and Seong-mi are college classmates Pil-soo invites Eun-ho to his mansion. The tension between the three because of Eun-ho's slip of the tongue!

Seong-mi suddenly goes to Eun-ho's house and a strange atmosphere flows between the two.

Though Jun-oh reveals his true identity, Young-hwa refuses to accept it. Conflicted, she replays past events and begins to suspect his words may be true. Jun-oh manages to convince her, but his disregard for her life enrages Young-hwa, who tells him never to see her again.

After witnessing Doha's spirit, Young-hwa is shaken and recalls forgotten childhood memories. As Jun-oh watches Young-hwa, he forces himself to let go of his lingering feelings for her recognition of him and steels his resolve to kill her.

Possessed by Doha, Jun-oh is unsettled, unsure if Young-hwa has truly recognized him. Meanwhile, Young-hwa dreams again and wonders if she only sees Doha because of her growing feelings for Jun-oh. Detective Min-oh, investigating Jun-oh's case, recalls Cheol-hwan and orders his whereabouts tracked. Concerned for Jun-oh, Min-oh arranges for Young-hwa to stay at Jun-oh's home.

While unconscious, Young-hwa dreams of a past life: Hanrita infiltrates Doha's mansion to avenge her parents' murder but fails to kill him. Unexpectedly, Doha spares her life, forcing her to remain as a maid. Hanrita notices the unusual relationship between Doha and his foster father, Soribu. Soribu also realizes that Hanrita is not a real maid.

Young-hwa is named “Firefighter of the Month” for saving Jun-oh. Before leaving for an Antarctic mission, she visits her father's forest grave and meets a head monk, who warns her never to take off her bracelet. Meanwhile, Jun-oh cancels Young-hwa's Antarctic selection interview to keep her by his side. Realizing his scheme, Young-hwa seeks him out on set, only to find him collapsed. Suddenly, both are kidnapped by hired thugs.

Jun-oh is revived as Doha possesses him, and he immediately tries to kill Young-hwa in the hospital but fails due to an unknown force. Believing she has simply saved Jun-oh, Young-hwa is overjoyed. But those around Jun-oh grow uneasy as his behavior changes drastically. Jun-oh soon learns of a protective talisman shielding Young-hwa.

Jun-oh narrowly saves Young-hwa, realizing he may never be able to kill her. Young-hwa confesses her true feelings to him.

Jun-oh realizes he is hesitating to kill Young-hwa. On her way to meet him, she encounters Cheol-hwan, who cryptically warns her to beware of ghosts.

Young-hwa decides to help Jun-oh find peace in death, but when her dreams of the past cease, she feels disheartened. Pretending she still dreams, she lies to Jun-oh who quickly sees through her.
