Amanda abuses magic for her guitar playing and forces Kuru to accept a rune, forbidden magic transfer. Kuru reports on her progress to Omar, who orders him to change and address the council.
Alex takes guru Kuru to her class, but he doesn't fin there. So she (ab)uses magic to make him 'cool'.
Alexandra orders Kuru to lie for her, which he reluctantly does after consulting Omar in Manshipoor, while Vashan would stick to the rule royalty must be truthful. She attempts first to pass off Kuru for an exchange student, while he openly treated her as princess.
After Kuru's visit, Alexandra's family is unusually accommodating. Kuru reports in Manjipoor that the princess isn't ready for the throne, but the guru is confident she'll grow into it and gives him the magical royal runes. Finding out she's adopted as Kuru said, she goes crazy, wants to run away and tears up a family picture.
Alexandra dreams of a singing career, in a pop band with friends Marcus, JB Deekes and Amanda Tucci. At her birthday party they get a complete surprise visit. The mysterious Indian Kuru, riding the often invisible elephant Anala, tells them she's in fact the magical princess-heir of Manjipour.
Emma starts acting very weird after pricking her finger on a mysterious barb of coral, suddenly becoming ravenous for things like anchovy flavoured fish food! Cleo's fish, Hector, exhibits the same behaviour. As Hector begins to look very sick, Emma turns into a mermaid at the marine park, swimming about in front of the glass in the viewing area.
Zane hears of treasure under the ocean and enlists Rikki to help find it, after all a mermaid can search the bottom of the ocean pretty fast. Rikki is reluctant until she discovers her dad is having trouble paying the bills - and they might be forced to move. Rikki gets Emma and Cleo to help, but conceals her true reasons for wanting the treasure.
Pressure is building at the Academy as the students prepare for exams. Tara tries to ignore her recent “almost-pash” with Ethan in an attempt to stay focused. With her sights set on the first year scholarship, Abigail pushes herself too far.
Shannon is worried about the wolves and their safety now people know they exist, they may be hunted. She plans to inform the Department of the Environment so they can protect the wolves, but first needs proof that the wolves exist and she knows how to get it - Carl's wolfbait! Maddy and Rhydian are worried, they have to get the bait before Shannon gets her hands on it.
It is the day of the full moon and Maddy and Rhydian aren't looking forward to a night in the den. Rhydian tries to talk Maddy into escaping, but Maddy knows she can't - her parents would be furious! Shannon has been trying to forget about the beast by throwing herself into other interests.
Rhydian is dabbling with his Eolas powers in school, showing off to his school mates. Maddy can't understand how he is doing it, the tricks go beyond Wolfblood senses and speed. Rhydian shares his secret with Maddy. It's something his mum taught him, Eolas, which wild wolfbloods use to connect themselves with nature.
Maddy, Rhydian, Tom and Shannon are playing in the woods when Tom notices someone spying on them. Maddy and Rhydian catch their scent - the wild wolfblood is back... Bernie, who owns the local village shop, fills them in about a homeless women who has been sleeping rough in the woods.
It's the night before full moon and Rhydian is spending a practice night in the Smith's den. The next day on their way to school Maddy and Rhydian sniff out some stolen goods -Sinclair gear hidden in the woods! They take a few t-shirts for themselves, Tom and Shannon. Shannon doesn't want a t-shirt as they aren't ethically made, but the 3 Ks overhear and start bartering for the spare t-shirt.
Animals have been going missing around the village and Shannon thinks that the beast is back. Instead of having their movie night, she wants them to all go beast hunting. At first Maddy isn't keen to go, wanting a wolf free night, but when Shannon tells Maddy that her mum is sending her to a psychiatrist because of her beast fixation, Maddy agrees to go.
Burke the hammerhead shark has broken a tooth. To sooth the pain, he has to come up for air at the surface regularly: but in so doing, he involuntarily shows his fin. Before long a panic wave runs through the citizens of Dolphin City, who think they've got a dangerous shark on their hands.
Why has a whale calf run aground on an isolated beach near Dolphin City? And what's causing the girls' migraines? Does it have anything to do with the dolphin twins' bizarre sickness? During their investigations the mermaids come across a strange fishing boat using illegal technology: an extremely low-frequency military radar device.
Murray and Burke are inconsolable: their pal Danny the octopus has disappeared! By chance, Cleo finds out that he's in fact been captured by the Oceanic Center, who are conducting scientific research. Murray puts pressure on the mermaids to get Danny out of there and bring him back to the sea. But Danny doesn't want to go home.
When Emma, Cleo and Rikki find out two superstars – Brad Patinson and Scarlett Belladonna - are shooting a film in Dolphin City, directed by the famous Martin Fabiola, they try anything to get on the set. Luckily Zane has been hired by the production! Only Rikki prefers to approach the stars in her own way – underwater of course!
When a storm is forecast to hit Lightning Point, ZOEY and KIKI know it's time – they can send a signal through the lightning, via the energy field and back to Lumina.
ZOEY is sick of waiting and decides to take charge of finding a way home. Back at the cane field, ZOEY and AMBER test out the energy field one more time.
