Professor Choi Seok Han asks Tae Soo's mother a very tough question that puts her life on the line. Knowing that her decision will save another doctor's life, she consents to give the heart that was for her to Soo Yeon, who is in critical condition. Tae Soo is heartbroken when he finds out and blames Professor Choi for making the wrong decision. After giving up the heart, Tae Soo's mother condition worsens. Taesan University Hospital inaugurates Yoon Hyun Il as the new director, and Soo Yeon regains her conscience. However, when she wakes up, the sight of her uncle frightens her.
