For the first time in history, Strongman Champions League will set up competition in Abu Dhabi. The line-up of super athletes, who are part of the SCL, includes former world champions Dainis Zageris (Latvia) & Krzysztof Radzikowski (Poland), current world champion Matjaz Belsak (Slovenia) and biggest strongman in the World Sean O'Hagan (Ireland).
The next stop in strongest league of the world is muscle capital, largest number of strong shoulders per capichampions league on the planet. It's a FIBO - the biggest expo on planet Earth and the second stage of 2018 Strongman champions league, in Cologne, Germany.
Season 2018 begins with 14 strongest men in the world, all competing for the title. The competition kicks off in Norway. We'll see typical Viking disciplines, team events and world records in heavy conditions in the land of snow and ice. They will suffer, they will freeze and fight in this first competition of the year for the title that they will carry on their shoulders throughout whole year.
On the second day of the grand finale of the 2017 Strongman Champions League, the athletes have a last chance to secure the medals in the spectacular four events Weight for Height, Deadlift Cars, Forward Hold and The Loading Medley. Be prepared for stunning performances – and even world records!
The first day of the two-part finale sees the strongest men competing in Carry and Drag, Dumbbell Lift and the Truck Pull. Everything is possible in this heated fight for the crown against the backdrop of stunning Chetumal, Mexico.
Stages 8 and 9 of the SCL are hosted in Vaasa, Finland, taking place over a spectacular two-day event. After 3 wins so far, Matjaz Belsak from Slovenia plans to extend his lead at the top of the table. Among the other 13 highly motivated strongmen, two SCL legends will make their comeback to the competition: Former World Champion of 2015, Krzysztof Radzikowski (Poland) and Dainis Zageris (Latvia).
The fight for the Finnish trophy continues. In this unmissable SCL event, the strongmen battle for the win in the Carry and Drag, the Forward Hold, Deadlifting with Cars and the Loading Race. Belsak, Radzikowski and Zageris look good after the first day, but the others haven't given up yet.
Welcome to the second day in Quebec. The athletes are fighting hard to win this two-day event. The last points of this SCL stage can be won over four outstanding disciplines: Power Stairs, Dumbbell Press, Keg Toss, and finally, the legendary Farmer's Walk. Who will leave Canada with the yellow ‘Leader Shirt'?
The next two stages take place in Quebec. With eight events over two days, SCL Canada is a true ‘heavyweight'. The athletes compete in: Truck Pull, Deadlift with cars, Log Lift, and the Atlas Stones. The World's Strongest Viking Jean-Francois Caron from Canada is a favourite, as well as current SCL leader Matjaz Belsak (Slovenia) and promising underdog Jimmy Paquet (Canada).
Set in the beautiful mountain resort Zlatibor, the fifth stage of the Strongman Champions League 2017 sees 14 athletes from across the world competing for the gold medal of SCL Serbia 2017. The event welcomes top-athlete - and odds-on favourite - Matjaz Belsak (Slovenia), who has presented himself in an impressive shape so far. Can his opponents defeat him?
The battle of the Dutch will take place this edition in Lichtenvoorde, a place very well known in Holland because of the famous “Black Cross”. The athletes will compete over six heavy events and the winner gets 25 Strongman Champions League ranking points.

38 athletes compete in the under 90kg and under 105kg SCL World Championships. From each weight class, the top 12 qualify for the finals.
This stage sees the strongmen visit Vaasa, Finland. Residents here are familiar with the competition because some of the SCL icons are from their country.
The competitors battle it out in the special event, the Atlas Steel Stone. This stone is made completely from iron and cannot be touched with any support.
