SADHAK KAMALAKANTA
Sadhak Kamalakanta is a religious depiction of the extraordinary life of the saint Kamalakanta, from approximately the 15th century of undivided Bengal. As per the Hindu mythology, it is believed by many that Kamalakanta was blessed by the divine spirit of the Mother Goddess, in the images of not only Kali and Durga but also Jagatamba, Bishlakhi and Bhabani. It movie tells of his days as a boy where he was granted the skills of a learned hermit from a holy man, and that was the initiation into a life of religious belief. It portrays all hardships that Kamalakanta faced in his family life and criticism of the public, to have to choose between a family to take care of and the undeterred devotion to the Mother Goddess. The movie intends to spread the message hof Kamalakantaís teachings of love and peace and spiritual importance as a way of life rather than a blind religion of sorts that we follow.
