The one-make championship, organized by MINI Italia with the support of ACI Sport, is ready to kick off the eleventh season. This year there are three categories that compete on the tracks of the main Italian circuits, in six exciting events from 2 July to 23 October 2022. San Donato Milanese. Now in its eleventh consecutive edition, the MINI Challenge 2022 single-make championship warms up its engines to start a season full of challenges. Also this year, MINI Italia renews its commitment to organizing one of the most exciting competitions on the Italian scene. The six events of 2022 will see the drivers compete on the tracks of the most famous national circuits. The MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Lite, the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Pro and the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Evo are ready to challenge each other in a new season full of emotions. The Academy race category continues in 2022, which also sees the under 25s on the track, as part of the MINI program dedicated to young people.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLC AMG Line World Premiere Teaser

The new GLC is immediately recognisable as a member of the Mercedes-Benz SUV family. Standard equipment includes the AVANTGARDE exterior with Chrome package including chrome window surrounds and a new, chrome-look simulated underguard. This adds striking design features and enhances the unique proportions of the vehicle. One of the defining design highlights of the GLC is the redesigned front end, with headlamps that connect directly to the radiator grille to emphasise the vehicle's width, and the new radiator grille as part of the standard AVANTGARDE exterior, which now has a chrome surround and a sporty louvre in matt grey with chrome trim. The AMG Line has a radiator grille with Mercedes-Benz pattern. The body design is characterised by a full, spanned surface design enriched with precisely shaped edges in the sides. These emphasise the proportions, accentuate the muscular wheel arches and create a balance between elegance and off-road performance. Wheel arch liners in the vehicle colour are available from the AMG Line upwards for the first time. These accentuate the sportiness of the AMG Line, as optional equipment in conjunction with mixed tyres. Also available as an optional extra are easy-entry running boards and, from the AMG Line upwards, a Night package.

A number of new technologies optimize the precision and control of the chassis in a wide variety of weather and road conditions. The standard electronic damper control (Electronic Control Suspension, ECS) in the GT-line version increases comfort and safety thanks to the continuous damping control. The system reacts to body movements and steering inputs and changes the damping behavior at lightning speed in order to counteract the vehicle's diving, pitching and rolling movements when cornering. It also adjusts the damping force in the case of obstacles in order to cope with them as comfortably as possible and to reduce the influence of post-vibrations on the wheels. A premiere for the Sportage is the “All-Terrain-Mode”, which will be available for the plug-in hybrid version with all-wheel drive. The system offers intelligent support when driving off-road or on snow by automatically optimizing the vehicle settings depending on the selected mode and thus helping the SUV to achieve maximum traction on muddy, sandy or snowy surfaces.
