Seoyeong, My Daughter Ep.9

Ujae's mother goes on a hunger strike to try and prevent Ujae's marriage but in the end she strikes a deal that forces Seoyeong to back away. Ujae's at his wits end because he's done everything he can to win Seoyeong's heart. He knows she loves him and her pride and fear are keeping her away. In the end he decides that he can't do anything for her and leaves for the U.S. Meanwhile Hojeong tried desperately to meet Sangu one last time to return his handkerchief only to discover that his father's sick. She ends up nursing him and gets to see Sangu who confirms that he doesn't like her but doesn't hate her either. This is good enough for her.
