Simmba

Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba is an unabashedly corrupt policeman who does not hesitate to make the local ganglord Durva his brother from another mother to ensure a regular inflow of bribes. Meanwhile, Simmba falls in love with Shagun, who runs a catering service next to Miramar Police Station in Goa, where he is stationed. He even finds a sister in a 19-year-old medical student, Aakruti, who teaches orphans in her free time. Soon, Aakruti stumbles upon a drug smuggling ring run by Durva's brothers and is brutally raped and killed. This twist in the tale transforms Simmba and forces him to choose the righteous path.
