Midsomer Murders

Barnaby joins a trip from Midsomer Parva to Brighton because he's suspicious about a deal to buy coastal land for holiday chalets by Causton's mayor. Also against the proposal is Lady Matilda William, a descendant of a French knight Sir Richard Guillaume, whose son Richard will be the last of the line because of brain damage sustained in an attack 20 years ago.

Midsomer Murders

When an old colleague of DCI Barnaby's is found murdered, a sex scandal at Causton police station 16 years previously comes back to haunt him. His investigation takes him to Midsomer Holm, a halfway house for ex-prisoners founded by Lord Holm, a man who also served time for the murder of his wife. As they try to find links between the suspects and a seedy group known as the Friday Nighters, another person goes missing.

Midsomer Murders

A battle of the sexes which has raged in Broughton since the First World War comes to a head when ageing feminist Mildred Danvers is found dead after returning to her childhood home. As Barnaby investigates, the misogynist vicar Rev Gantis is shot through the head during a humiliating donkey race at the village fair. Is the killer on the side of the men or women - or do tragedies in Broughton's past hold the answer?
