Weekend Reno

Kim and Rebecca Hunter are funeral directors who just recently bought their own funeral home. All the money, time and effort put into their business means little is left over for their cottage. They need a Weekend Reno to turn their ‘80s throwback – jokingly called “Pinepalooza” – into a relaxing retreat they can use to escape their stressful jobs and spend quality time together with their son, Jake. The main order of business is tearing out the dingy beige carpet, minimizing the effects of all that pine and creating a functional kitchen. A last minute project becomes a creative finishing touch.
