The Year 1971. The Liberation war of Bangladesh. The voilent skies above India's borders. The Bloodied battlegrounds on land. Deadly, Gory, Lethal. As India Locks horns with an agreesive Pakistan, the fate of the suppressed East Pakistan hangs in uncertainty. Its freedom, its liberty on the verge of being lost forever. On the 3rd of November at midnight, after being attacked by Pakistan, India declares war. The Indian Air Force moves in. Multiple battles are fought over land, see and skies. Over 12000 combat sorties are conducted. Over 600 combat aircrafts deployed. Fiery dogfights dominate the skies. The Film 'Lakshya 1971: Vayu Sena Ke Veer Yoddha' brings out this exclusive story of the 1971 aerial war of the first time ever, majorly through the decisive air battles that changed the course of this iconic war. Travelling back 50 years to retrive the breath- taking battle stories, the anchor Harman Singha will uncover some of the Indian AirForce's closely guarded tales of men, machines and missions. For the first time ever, we hear the first hand account of the game-changing stories and inspiring heroics by the IAF war legends themselves. Combining archival footage with graphics and recreated scenes, the film will bring into life of the greatest stories of courage, patrotism and independance which the world has long forgotten.
