During the race, Spritle is mistaken for Prince Jam and is attacked, making him fall to the bottom of a valley. The King and his aides believe that the Prince has died.
The Baby Grand Prix is held to celebrate the coronation of Prince Jam of Karint Kingdom. Even though Spritle has not reached the age eligible to participate, he accidentally ends up participating in the race.

After falling into the waterfall basin, Speed and Twinkle end up in a secret cave behind the waterfall. The two then encounter Cornpone and his underlings, who have discovered the treasure.
