After 20 years of friendship, Aera and Dongman become an official couple. When Aera goes to watch Dongman's match, a poster for MMA cage announcer recruitment catches her attention. Meanwhile, Juman who has been confused about his feelings for Yejin, gets frustrated with Seolhui who always wants their relationship to be sweet like the first time they started dating.
Seolhui becomes anxious when Juman heads out to meet Yejin who keeps sending Juman text messages when she is drunk. Seolhui asks Yejin to stop contacting him and asking him to meet her, but Yejin refuses to give up on him. Meanwhile, Hyeran appears in front of Aera at the festival rehearsal.
When Seolhui sees Juman and Yejin together on television for the home shopping broadcast, she heads straight to the studio. After the broadcast, Juman reveals his relationship with Seolhui to their coworkers. Meanwhile, Aera heads to Daecheon where Dongman is after finishing her announcer interview.
While Aera prepares for her interview, Dongman begins to prepare for his first match. They try to act as if they don't care about each other, but their feelings grow as time goes on. Meanwhile, Seolhui makes up her mind to tell Yejin that she is actually Juman's girlfriend.
When Hyeran tells Aera that she and Dongman will get back together, Aera warns Hyeran again to stay away from him. Meanwhile, Juman becomes upset when he sees Seolhui doing the chores at his family's gathering.

The notoriously mean blogger comes back to Good Soup. Mi Na calls Good Soup to make an appointment to meet with Jung Sun. Hong Ah admits to Hyun Soo that she might be in love with Won Joon.
Hyun Soo and Jung Sun meet and get back together. Jung Sun decides to stay in Korea and not leave for Hong Kong. After turning her phone off, Hyun Soo spends the night at Jung Sun's place. Kyung is worried about her and calls Jung Woo for help. He goes to their home, and Hyun Soo walks in.
Jung Woo tells Hyun Soo's parents that he liked Hyun Soo. Jung Sun proposes to Hyun Soo. Joon Ha tells Hyun Soo that the program set to air before her drama has been canceled and that their drama will be pushed forward. Hong Ah gets upset at Jung Woo that Hyun Soo's drama will air before hers. Meanwhile, Jung Sun hears from Michelin.
Jung Sun leaves the hospital after seeing Jung Woo with Hyun Soo's family. Mi Na goes into surgery. Joon Ha continues to show his affection towards Kyung. Jung Sun goes to the hospital to visit Mi Na after the surgery. Hyun Soo tells Jung Sun that she has been careful around him since he rejected her offer to live with each other.
Jung Sun meets Jung Woo to talk about paying back his mom's debt. On his way home, he gets a call from his father. Hyun Soo comes to Good Soup to interview him for her drama. Hyun Soo continues to feel as though Jung Sun isn't letting her in. Meanwhile, Hong Ah and Yi Bok prepare for Hong Ah's drama.
Hyun Soo tells Jung Sun that she wants to live with him. Joon Ha and Hong Ah have a hard time working together on Hong Ah's drama. Jung Sun confronts Jung Woo for lending his mother money. Meanwhile, both Jung Woo and Jung Sun reminisce of the good times they had together when they first opened the restaurant. Jung Sun decides that he will work to receive a Michelin star. The staff at Good Soup work together to achieve that goal. Jung Sun tells Hyun Soo that he doesn't want her to contact his mother. She tells him that she can't do that. Meanwhile, Jung Woo meets with Hyun Soo mom, Mi Na.
Hyun Soo decides to quit writing the script for "Unruly Detectives". She struggles with her decision as her future as a writer may be over. After Jung Sun's TV appearance, things are looking up for Good Soup. Jung Woo works hard to solve the problems that came from Hyun Soo quitting the drama. Meanwhile, Hong Ah spends more time with Won Joon.
Jung Sun goes to Hyun Soo to comfort her. After Jung Sun cancelled on her, Hong Ah goes to Hyun Soo's house. Much to her surprise, Jung Sun opens the door to Hyun Soo's home. Meanwhile, Jung Woo goes to convince Ha Rim to return to the shoot, and Jung Sun confides in Hyun Soo over his restaurant.
Hyun Soo and Yi Bok go head-to-head on the script of "Unruly Detectives". She calls Jung Sun, who misses her call. The two go on a run together to help ease Hyun Soo's stress over her drama. Meanwhile, Hong Ah meets Jung Woo. She gives him a copy of a script she had written.
Five years have passed, and Jung Sun and Hyun Soo meet again. Hyun Soo tells him that she regretted missing his call the day that he left. Won Joon finds out that Hong Ah is working as Hyun Soo's assistant. He calls her to confront her for making Jung Sun and Won Joon believe that Hyun Soo was going to get married.
Jung Sun leaves for Paris with his mom. Hyun Joo begins her job working under Jung Woo. She finds out that Jung Sun left without saying goodbye to her. While she continues on with her life, she is reminded of Jung Sun from time to time. Meanwhile, Jung Woo begins to develop feelings towards Hyun Soo and decides he's going to tell her.
Hyun Soo meets Jung Sun's mother. Jung Woo finds out that Hyun Soo is out of a job and offers to employ her. Jung Sun decides to re-evaluate whether or not he should remain working at the restaurant. Meanwhile, Jung Sun and Hyun Soo's feelings towards each other continue to grow.
Shocked after discovering Ha-eun's hideout, Eun-ha begs him to forget everything and return to the past, but he asks her to trust and wait. As Sang-guk and Tae-jun grow fearful of a hidden third party, Dong-chan escalates his threats, while financial pressure mounts on Jin-woo. Meanwhile, Detective Kyung prepares to return and gathers key testimony, as long-buried truths about Ha-eun's identity and In-cheol's secrets begin to surface.
Detective Kyung confirms Ha-eun's true identity, while Eun-ha also begins to realize the truth after recognizing a meaningful bracelet. As secrets unravel, Dong-chan blackmails Tae-jun and Sang-guk with evidence of past corruption, and new threats emerge from Park Sang-chul. Unable to suppress his emotions any longer, Ha-eun finally confronts Eun-ha, setting the stage for a turning point.
