Chimp Hananya is taken by surprise when he meets Kiki, the latest addition to his group. New arrival Kiki meets Patricia. Having lived on her own, Kiki is not used to other chimps so the team are not sure how she will react to others of her own kind. Meanwhile, overweight orang-utan Oshine has a special visitor from South Africa - but will she remember her? Woolly monkey Bueno has to have emergency dental treatment when the veterinary team discover he has several rotten teeth.
Chimp Kiki finally arrives at the park after a mammoth journey from the Middle East, but having lived on her own in a cage in Beirut for the last eight years, she is unnerved by the sounds of the other chimps in the room next door. Meanwhile there is great excitement at the golden-cheeked gibbon house with news of Zoey's new arrival in the middle of the night.
The team are in Lebanon on a rescue mission to pick up a very lonely chimp. Kiki has lived on her own in a cage for the last eight years, but there are problems when it is realised that her cage has rusted closed and the team have to resort to drastic measures to get her out. Once at the airport they have to keep Kiki calm or she won't be allowed to board the flight for the UK.
Jeremy is on a mission to coax overweight Oshine into the great outdoors, but to get to the enclosure the big orang-utan has to navigate a series of tunnels, and she is not keen. So Jeremy has to go in on his hands and knees to guide her through. Meanwhile there is trouble at the stumpie house when the boys finally meet the girls. Sam proves a big hit, but Jonathan gets over excited and has to cool off.
There is bad news for the stump-tailed macaques who have recently arrived at the park from a lab facility in Scotland. Wildlife vet John Lewis pays a special visit to give them a health check, but has to call in the services of a top London dentist when he realises they have serious dental problems.
Hananya is busy showing everyone who is boss, whilst baby woolly Diego joins his family in the big enclosure, and golden-cheeked gibbon Zoey is pregnant.
Orang-utan Oshine is introduced to two youngsters, and it's an emotional day when the ugly monkeys, from a research facility in Scotland, go outside for the first time.

Chimp Ben's foot infection has led to the amputation of one of his toes. Just as he's improving, Honey, one of the chimps in Hananya's house, is struck down by the mysterious bacterial infection - and it is serious.
Chimp Ben's mysterious infection has spread to some of the others in his group, and it's a race against time to diagnose and treat it effectively. Meanwhile, the orang-utans are watching their weight, but are not so keen to get onto the scales.
