Little things can sometimes bring about big effects. In trying to catch Sassette, Gargamel upsets the Balance of Truth, and from then on everybody in the world tells lies. Even Papa Smurf is changed into a pathological liar. What is more, the Spirit of the Scales chain Gargamel and Sassette to each other, and together they have to replace the Topaz of Truth....
Everyone has their own dreams. That of Smurfette is to meet the legendary Don Smurfo, the dashing, witty, swashbuckling hero of many an engrossing tale. The Smurfs shrug at this infatuation. But when a real-life Don Smurfo appears in the village and Smurfette snubs them all in favor of the bragging stranger, they take the matter a little more seriously.
