Recently widowed, Julia (Olivia Newton-John) is left to raise two young girls on her own, and when she loses her job, things go from bad to worse as she struggles to pay her bills. Then, arriving at her idyllic mountain home, city banker Brian Harding (Gregory Harrison) is tasked to deliver some devastating news - she'll need to hand over the property after Christmas.
