Possessed by Doha, Jun-oh is unsettled, unsure if Young-hwa has truly recognized him. Meanwhile, Young-hwa dreams again and wonders if she only sees Doha because of her growing feelings for Jun-oh. Detective Min-oh, investigating Jun-oh's case, recalls Cheol-hwan and orders his whereabouts tracked. Concerned for Jun-oh, Min-oh arranges for Young-hwa to stay at Jun-oh's home.

Young-hwa is named “Firefighter of the Month” for saving Jun-oh. Before leaving for an Antarctic mission, she visits her father's forest grave and meets a head monk, who warns her never to take off her bracelet. Meanwhile, Jun-oh cancels Young-hwa's Antarctic selection interview to keep her by his side. Realizing his scheme, Young-hwa seeks him out on set, only to find him collapsed. Suddenly, both are kidnapped by hired thugs.
Jun-oh is revived as Doha possesses him, and he immediately tries to kill Young-hwa in the hospital but fails due to an unknown force. Believing she has simply saved Jun-oh, Young-hwa is overjoyed. But those around Jun-oh grow uneasy as his behavior changes drastically. Jun-oh soon learns of a protective talisman shielding Young-hwa.
Young-hwa is called a “miracle firefighter” because no one dies at the scenes she responds to. Though she is sometimes plagued by nightmares from 1,500 years ago, she remembers nothing upon waking. Meanwhile, arrogant top star Jun-oh films a public-service ad as an honorary firefighter to cover up a scandal with Lee-seul. When Jun-oh and Young-hwa meet, they bicker from the start.
Jae-hoon decides to go back to the hospital and Yeo-reum decides to resign to the company. Yeo-reum tells Jae-hoon that she wants to go far for a while...
After appearing on the program Jae-hoon's face is known to the whole nation. To make matters worse there are even articles that Yeo-reum and Jae-hoon live in one house and rumors of cohabitation spread and Yeo-reum's relationship with Jae-hoon becomes more cautious.
Yeo-reum gets into an accident while trying to protect the cast and is taken to the hospital. Yeo-reum's relationship with Jae-hoon is once again jeopardized by an anonymous interview that there was an inappropriate act of affection between the cast and producer of Kingdom of Love.
An article about Jae-hoon being kicked out of the hospital after committing a medical accident is posted on the online community and the production team of the 'Kingdom of Love' panic due to the pouring articles and malicious comments. Yeo-reum tries to deal with this somehow but Jae-hoon misunderstands that Yeo-reum is trying to use his past history for the program.
Jae-hoon and Ji-yeon are rapidly emerging as the most popular couple in the 'Kingdom of Love' program. Yeo-reum's heart is somehow bitter watching this. Meanwhile there are posts online revealing that Jae-hoon killed a person in a medical accident in the past.
Ji-yeon shows interest in Jae-hoon which makes her highly supportive and popular with viewers. Yeo-reum promises director Chae-ri to film a kiss scene between Ji-yeon and Jae-hoon to protect one of the cast.

Jae-hoon is upset that Yeo-reum was proposed by another man. In-woo is annoyed by Jae-hoon next to Yeo-reum and visits him and warns him to leave Yeo-reum's side. The more the conflict between the two worsens the more confused she is. She wants someone to be with her and decides to marry In-woo.
Sera takes the weary Sun-woo stargazing to comfort him. Someone secretly follows the two from behind. Meanwhile, Gwang-gi, who has been investigating the case, starts to suspect that Jae-ha is hiding something. Finally learning the whole truth, Sun-woo draws closer to facing it.
Searching for Kim Nam-gyu, Sun-woo and Sera visit the school he attended 20 years ago and hear an unexpected name. As Sera gets closer to the truth, mysterious memories continue to resurface, leaving her confused and shaken. With Jae-ha's help, Sun-woo finally learns that Kang is the true culprit and rushes to his house, only to find him unconscious beside a suicide note.
